What is car detailing?

Car detailing is a deep cleaning and restoration process designed to improve both the interior and exterior condition of your vehicle. Unlike a standard car wash, detailing involves thorough cleaning, paint enhancement, surface protection, and attention to fine details to restore your vehicle to a showroom-quality finish.

How long does a full car detail take?

The time required depends on the size and condition of the vehicle as well as the service selected. Most full detail packages take between 3–8 hours, while paint correction and ceramic coating services may require 1–3 days for proper preparation and curing.

What’s included in an interior detail?

Vacuuming carpets and seats
Deep cleaning upholstery and mats
Dashboard and console cleaning
Leather conditioning
Interior surface sanitisation
Window cleaning
Odour removal treatment

Additional services may be recommended depending on the vehicle’s condition.

What’s included in an exterior detail?

Snow foam pre-wash
Hand wash
Wheel and tyre cleaning
Clay bar decontamination
Paint polishing
Wax or paint sealant application
Exterior glass cleaning
Tyre dressing

Higher-tier packages may also include paint correction and ceramic protection.

What is paint correction?

Paint correction is the process of removing imperfections from your vehicle’s paintwork, including swirl marks, light scratches, oxidation, and holograms. Machine polishing techniques are used to restore gloss, clarity, and depth to the paint.

Is ceramic coating worth it?

Yes. Ceramic coating provides long-term paint protection against UV rays, dirt, water spots, bird droppings, and environmental contaminants. It also enhances gloss and makes regular vehicle maintenance much easier.

How long does ceramic coating last?

The lifespan of a ceramic coating depends on the product used, maintenance habits, and driving conditions. Professional-grade coatings can last anywhere from 2 to 7 years when properly maintained.

How often should I detail my car?

For best results, we recommend:

Maintenance wash: every 2–4 weeks
Interior detail: every 3–6 months
Full detail: every 6–12 months

Vehicles exposed to harsh weather, heavy driving, or pets may benefit from more frequent detailing.

Can detailing remove scratches?

Detailing and paint correction can remove many light scratches and swirl marks. However, deep scratches that penetrate through the clear coat may require touch-up paint or repainting.

Do you work on luxury and European vehicles?

Yes. We specialise in premium, luxury, European, and performance vehicles and use safe detailing methods and high-quality products designed to protect delicate finishes and materials.

How do I maintain my car after detailing?

Wash using pH-neutral products
Avoid automatic brush car washes
Dry with microfiber towels
Remove contaminants quickly
Schedule regular maintenance detailing

We can also recommend aftercare products suitable for your vehicle.

Do I need to book an appointment?
